As part of the fifth year anniversary, Xiaomi announced to offer five surprises this month. Keep true to its words, the company slashed the prices of the Mi A1, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Y2, Redmi 6 Pro in the last four days and as fifth big announcement of the week, the Redmi 6 has received Rs 1,500 price cut, a first since the debut in late 2018.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 retails in two variants—3GB RAM+ 32GB storage and 3GB RAM+64GB storage— (MRP) Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,499. Now, with the discount offer, the consumers can grab them for Rs 7,999 and Rs 8,499, respectively. This is valid on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home and authorised offline channels across India.
I have used the Redmi 6 (review) for a couple of weeks and have to say, the device is a compelling buy, even more so with the price cut. It has top-notch build quality, decent camera hardware, offers a full day's battery life and the display is also good.
