This is not the first time that Priyanka has expressed her love for Tupac. She is often spotted wearing t-shirts with Tupac's photo during movie promotions in India. She also revealed that she is a big fan of Tupac when she was 12 years old and wanted to marry the rapper.

"I'm going to say this on national television right now you guys... I was supposed to be Mrs. Tupac Shakur," she had told Jimmy Kimmel when she appeared on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2015.

"I wore black for like almost 20 days to school after he was shot," she further said. When Kimmel asked her about her next crush after Tupac was shot, she replied, "When you are in school, you have crushes every week, but I did stay with Tupac in my heart for around two years. And when he died, I kind of moved on to as a rebound crush to Dennis Rodman."
