Showtime will air season 3 episode 8 of "Ray Donovan" at 9.00 pm (EST) on Sunday, 30 August, and it will see Ray getting more tangled with the Finneys. In the coming episode titled "Tulip", the Finney patriarch is seen trying to get Ray back into his team, while Father Romero is pressuring him for a confession.

In the previous episode, Father Romero (Leland Orser) had told Ray (Live Schreiber) that he knew the truth about Father Daniel O'Connor, a Catholic priest and a paedophile. He had appeared in season 1 as a primary antagonist and his sexual abuse is the reason behind Bunchy's (Dash Mihok) alcoholism and sexual anorexia.

Meanwhile, Mickey's (Jon Voight) refusal to do anything to stop the priest from abusing his younger brother and him, is the reason for Ray to hate his father.

In season 1, after beating a confession out of Father Romero for abusing a young boy who attended his church, Ray ended up killing Father Danny by shooting him in the head. Now, Father Romero wants Ray to confess to his sins, although he does not want to turn Ray in to the cops.

Father Romero's demand however, unearths a lot of bad and dark memories in Ray, and in the promo he is seen pointing a gun towards Romero. In a later scene he is digging a hole big enough to be a grave. Things do not look so good for Father Romero.

On the other hand, Andrew Finney (Ian McShane) is demanding that Ray help him avoid prison, and when Ray flatly refuses, the Finney patriarch reminds him that if he hadn't helped Ray in his time of need, Ray's brother Terry (Eddie Marson) would have gotten killed in prison.

Although Ray is not one to be swayed by emotional blackmail, it looks like he will give in to Andrew's request.

One great news for "Ray Donovan" fans, is Avi's (Steven Bauer) return. In the promo, Ray is seen thanking Avi for helping him out, after which the duo is seen watching a car burn down.
