The MTV Video Music Awards 2018 took place on August 20, Monday, and it was a star-studded night. The who's who from the music industry were present at the VMA and they made sure they made a memorable entry into the awards show.
The VMA red carpet was a raunchy affair as several artists chose to leave little to the imagination and flaunt ample assets. Right from Rita Ora to Nicki Minaj, stars gave fans something to ogle and talk about.
This year's riskiest outfit was probably worn by the Lonely Together singer. Ora stepped out wearing a black sheer outfit that gave fans a good look at her curvy frame. The singer ditched the bra and stepped out wearing just a pair of black panties under the outfit. She sported a black choker and a slew of black rings to complete her raunchy look.
Nicki Minaj sported an element on sheer as well when she walked the red carpet wearing a belted swimsuit wrapped under a thin layer of sheer tulle. The female rapper's tulle almost caused a wardrobe malfunction when she stepped up to collect her award the Best Hip Hop Video for Chun-Li but her friend Ariana Grande helped her from the embarrassing moment.
Orange Is The New Black star Dascha Polanco almost pushed us to believe that sheer is the theme of the red carpet this year when she stepped out wearing a see-through outfit on the red carpet. However, Blac Chyna broke the sheer theme when she stepped out wearing a two-piece chained outfit. Noah Cyrus experimented with her red carpet look by wearing a silver bikini top and matching silver pants.
Amber Rose got us asking, "Why?" when she stepped out wearing a red catsuit. Distracting us from that sight, Jennifer Lopez stepped out on the red carpet donning a gorgeous metallic gown. The Video Vanguard awardee sported a slew of diamond jewellery to complete her look.
Grande opted a metallic outfit as well. She made her first red carpet appearance with her fiancé Pete Davidson wearing a short dress and her stunning engagement ring. The Artist of the Year winner Camila Cabello was undoubtedly one of the best dressed this year. She walked the red carpet in a beautiful blue and white gown which she completed with a chic pair of silver heels.
But no one could take their eyes off Cardi B. The female rapper, who has had a fantastic year thanks to her collaborations and her newborn baby girl, debuted her new look at the red carpet. The musician flaunted ample assets in a velvet gown while donning a new short hairdo.
