The second song from Shivaraj Kumar and Kiccha Sudeep's The Villain has hit the internet with a bang. Arjun Janya-composed music is sung by Kailash Kher, Vijay Prakash and director Prem himself.

The number titled "Tick tick tick" is shot on Shivaraj Kumar and the lines have been written keeping the image of the actor in mind. The track glorifies sword-wielding Shivanna and his mass fan following.

The song had created a controversy even before its release. The line, 'Ninne Monne Bandaveralla Number 1 Anthaaro', [ which roughly translates to - rookie actors declare themselves as superstars- in Kannada] had not gone well with the fans of many stars as they felt that Prem was taking potshots at other actors.

Later, Prem clarified that those lines were required for the storyline and his intention was not to hurt anyone. It has to be noted that the director himself has said those lines in the number.

First Track

The first track from The Villain was released last weekend and met with a good response. Shankar Mahadevan lent his voice for the number and Prem penned the lyrics.

So far, the track has garnered over 20 lakh hits on YouTube. "#TheVillain 1st song crosses 2 million views on social media! Last song shoot in progress with Darling @KicchaSudeep & @iamAmyJackson. The 2nd MASS SONG releases tomorrow at 10am! [sic]"

Meanwhile, the shooting of the last song is in progress in Bengaluru and it is being shot on Sudeep and Amy Jackson. The makers have plans to wrap up shooting by Sunday night, July 22.
