Amid fierce competition among the major telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Vodafone India has come up with a special pack on the occasion of Ramzan, making unlimited data available to its subscribers for as low as Rs 5.

Under Vodafone India's Ramzan Special Pack, subscribers in UP West and Uttarakhand can avail unlimited 2G data for just Rs 5 and unlimited 3G data for Rs 19. However, the offer is valid for only one hour, which means you can use as much data you can for an hour. You can dial *444*5# for Rs 5 offer and *444*19# for Rs 19 pack.

The telecom operator has also launched Rs 253 plan, offering unlimited 2G data, and free local and STD calling for 28 days. The Rs 345 offers unlimited calls (local and STD) + Unlimited 2G data + 1GB data per day for 28 Days.

It may be noted that Vodafone's existing Rs 352 plan offers 1GB of 4G data per day or 56GB of data for 56 days, besides unlimited local and STD calls with a cap of 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes per week.

All the major telecom operators -- Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea, BSNL – have unlimited data packs for its consumers and mostly with 4G speed, so it is to be seen how Vodafone subscribers will react to the new Rs 253 and Rs 345 2G data packs. However, the Rs 5 and Rs 19 Ramzan Special Pack sound interesting though the offer is for a limited time.
