Hamid Ansari inaugurates 3-day cultural festival in Cuba

Havana, Oct 30 (ANI): Vice president Hamid Ansari, who is in Cuba to boost bilateral and multilateral ties between the nations, inaugurated a three-day cultural festival of India in the Latin American country on October 29. During his stay, Ansari will hold wide-ranging bilateral talks with his counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez. He is scheduled to call on the President of Cuba, Raul Castro, on October 30. Ansari also inaugurated the cultural festival of India in Havana, during which Indian dance troupe performed the classical dance form 'Kathakali' and enthralled Cubans with their beautiful dance performance. Mumbai, Oct 30 (ANI): Convicted Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt returned to Yerawada Central Jail in Pune on Wednesday after his four-week-long medical parole ended. Sanjay Dutt, was released from jail on furlough for 14 days on October 1. Later, he sought an extension which was granted to him for another fortnight. Accordingly, this year, Dutt will spend the Diwali festival in the jail with other inmates. Gadchiroli, Oct 30 (ANI): Police killed two women Maoist cadres in an exchange of fire with the rebels at Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. Interacting with the reporters, superintendent of police, Mohammed Suwez Haque, confirmed the killings. Haque further said that in an ambush by the rebels, following the first encounter, police lost one of its personnel.
