Hyderabad, Nov 29 (ANI): While Tehelka's former editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal heads towards Goa to face interrogation by the police over charges of sexual assault by a former journalist of the magazine, there are many who are happy over his fall. Former BJP president Bangaru Laxman, who was the target of Tehelka's first sting operation in 2001, took a dig at Tejpal saying that if he is the courageous journalist who stood for some morals, what he is afraid of.

Fodder scam: SC issues notice to CBI on Lalu's bail plea, defers hearing till Dec 13

New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday deferred the hearing on the bail plea of former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has been sentenced to five years' rigorous imprisonment in connection with the fodder scam case. The apex court will hear the plea on December 13.

Tarun Tejpal gets interim relief till 2:30 PM

Panaji, Nov 29 (ANI): Tehelka sexual assault case accused Tarun Tajpal’s lawyer confirmed that Goa sessions court gave interim relief to Tejpal till 2:30 PM and that they are hopeful to get bail soon. She said that now that the court has given him interim protection, police should stop hounding Tejpal. The lawyer also said that Tejpal has already sent a letter to Goa police that he wants to cooperate with them and that he is not running from anything.
