Politicos react after police arrests TMC MP in Saradha Chit Fund Scam

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Saturday after TMC MP Srinjoy Bose was arrested in the Saradha chit fund scam. BJP leader Sambit Patra reacting over it said that in the near future all the TMC members will be operating the party from behind the bars. BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh, however, appealed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee to start drafting her resignation letter. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that legal proceedings are important against TMC members who are guilty.

Erbil, Nov 22 (ANI): Describing the brutal life under Islamic State as a 'nightmare', a 15-year-old girl, who escaped from the captivity shared her ordeal on Saturday. She said that she and many girls like her were forced to change their religion and marry the militants to give birth to babies who they take to train and become an IS militant. Although the girl has escaped the clutches of ISIS, she said that she is not happy and requested the help groups and NGOs to help free other girls still trapped there.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meets prime minister of Iraq

Erbil, Nov 21 (ANI): Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar met Prime Minister of semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, and discussed plans to psychologically rehabilitate war-ravaged people. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar plans to teach yoga and meditation to a group of war-weary Iraqis, whom he hopes will extend their new-found inner peace to their nation. The Islamic State (IS) has caused international alarm by capturing large expanses of Iraq and Syria, declaring an Islamic "caliphate" that extends across the border between the two. His teachings are based on ancient principles of yoga, but he has added elements of his own and aligned it with meditation techniques.

Sharif made the request when Obama telephoned him on Friday, informing him about his forthcoming India visit. Obama has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's invitation to be the chief guest at Republic Day celebrations in January.

US President Obama gives push to Immigration laws, says 'will never give up' Part-1

Las Vegas, Nov 22 (ANI): A day after unveiling plans for immigration reform, United States President Barack Obama signed the executive order designed to bring about those changes at a high school in Nevada. Obama said that he will not give up on the reforms and will do whatever to make the senates pass the bill on the same. This is the president's most extensive use of executive power in a year in which they have become his signature way of working around congressional gridlock. The order eases the threat of deportation for some 4.7 million undocumented immigrants. While speaking in Nevada, President Obama said that the nation has lost more than a year not passing the bill on immigrants which leads families to part and business entrepreneurs to leave which US can no longer afford. Meanwhile, he also announced about the temporary relief to the immigrants in US, a nation which goes with principle of fairness and democracy and justice to all irrespective of their background and nationality.

Security Experts on Nawaz Sharif asking President Obama to raise Kashmir issue on India visit

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Security Experts on Saturday reacted on Pak PM Nawaz Sharif asking US President Barack Obama to raise Kashmir issue on his visit to India on Republic Day. Security Expert Kamal Mitra Chenoy said that firstly US President's visit to India would not have much impact as he don't have much majority in the House of Senate. Further, he said that Sharif who always looks for opportunities to take Kashmir issue on international forum will not receive any positive outcome from the same. Following the suit, Security Expert Uday Bhaskar said that Pakistan has always tried to internationalise Kashmir issue and that it was obvious that Sharif would talk about the same to Obama. Although, he remained confident that US president will not pay much heed to the same.

Maoist attack in Bastar: Seven CRPF personnel sustain injuries

Bastar, Nov 22 (ANI): Seven CRPF personnel sustained injuries in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh. Police said that a group of heavily-armed red rebels ambushed security personnel's team in Bastar district. He added that two paramilitary personnel are in critical condition. Maoists, also known as Naxals, have killed police and politicians, and targeted government buildings and railway tracks in an insurgency that has killed thousands since 1960s.
