The former Pakistani cricketer and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran is now set to be sworn in on August 18 as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. PTI won with 116 seats, just short of the required 137 to be the majority.
While the party was in talks with smaller parties to form a coalition, they were allotted 28 seats for women and five seats for non-Muslims.
Here are a few reactions to the comparison between Donald Trump and Imran Khan:
I'd not only move my self, I'd take every single person in my entire family tree, businesses and every other assests + other people around me just to be part of the "Brown Trump" Naya Pakistan! I trust Sufi Imran Khan a lot more than "The Orange @POTUS " @ImranKhanPTI— Calapouf (@Dr_tweeting) August 16, 2018
