Sri Venkateswara Creations, led by #DilRaju, has acquired the #AndhraPradesh and #Telangana distribution rights of #Toxic for a staggering amount – marking one of the biggest acquisition ever for a non-#Telugu film in these territories."
Dil Raju is said to have shelled out Rs 120 crore on the rights of Toxic: A fairytale for grown ups for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is the highest record for a non-Telugu movie. Sumit Kadel wrote, "BREAKING- ₹120 Cr AP–TG RECORD DEAL for #ToxicTheMovie - YASH IS ARRIVING ON 19 MARCH WITH FULL FORCE."
Sumit Kadel added, "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups rewrites trade history before release as Sri Venkateswara Creations, led by Dil Raju, acquires Andhra Pradesh–Telangana rights for a staggering ₹120 crore (advance on commission basis)- the biggest-ever acquisition for a non-Telugu origin film."

Yash's previous release KGF: Chapter 2 has collected over 150 crore gross at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office in its lifetime. The movie has fetched nearly Rs 100 crore to its distributors in the state. The hype for Toxic is bigger than KGF 2, which made sell its theatrical rights at higher price.
Another reason for higher price is that the movie is releasing during Ugadi and Eid festival season. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "After delivering the record-smashing blockbuster #KGF2, #Yash returns to the big screen with #Toxic, slated for release on [Thursday] 19 March 2026, perfectly timed for the festive weekend of #Ugadi, #GudiPadwa, and #Eid."
Toxic: A fairytale for Grown ups is written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The movie has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, and will be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and multiple languages.
