Tom Cruise seems to be all over the place. The 54-year-old actor, who is busy with the promotions of The Mummy, has just made an appearance in an adventure-packed American Made trailer.
The new Universal Pictures movie looks like perfect fodder for fans of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible, Netflix's Narcos and Top Gun.

Cruise's energy in the first American Made trailer is extremely contagious. Based on an unbelievably true story, Cruise does the role of a pilot in the movie. American Made is an action comedy about a pilot who was recruited to transfer drugs for the CIA and eventually becomes a player for both sides.
The film will take viewers through the mind-boggling events in the pilot's life including crashing into a village and escaping in a cycle, getting caught by the government before getting freed and even meeting and working with Pablo Escobar.
America Made is based on Barry Seal's life. The real life character appears in the first season of the Netflix show, Narcos.
The Doug Liman directorial is bound to be a roller coaster ride. Renowned for his past projects like The Bourne Identity and Mr & Mrs Smith, the Liman production never fails to entertain.
Liman and Cruise have worked on Edge of Tomorrow before American Made. Edge of Tomorrow introduced a new combination to Hollywood and fared well at the box office. Film viewers will expect nothing less from American Made as well.
The Mummy actor has been at his peak as well. Be it sex comedies, war stories, family dramas or sci-fi films, the actor's presence goes a long way in terms of his films' box office successes. Having worked with directors of the highest calibre, right from Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg to Brian DePalma and Stanley Kubrick, Cruise can rightly stake claim to the king of box office title.
While the Mummy will open on Friday, the actor has a busy year ahead with Mission: Impossible 6, Top Gun 2 and Edge of Tomorrow 2 productions.
