Actress Priya Prakash Varrier, who became a sensation with her wink in a music video, has reportedly rejected an offer to feature in megastar Chiranjeevi's son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev's film.
Kalyaan Dhev's second film is directed by Puli Vasu and produced under the banner Rizwan Entertainments. The makers are now looking for a suitable actress to play the female lead opposite Kalyaan Dhev. They are said to be considering names of some young actresses and Priya Prakash Varrier was one among them. They reportedly approached her with an offer, but she said no to them.
Priya Prakash Varrier, who hails from Punkunnam, Thrissur, is just one movie old in the film industry. Moreover, her debut film Oru Adaar Love is yet to be released. But her wink featured in a song from the Malayalam flick made her a nation-wide sensation. She was flooded with a lot of big projects down south.
The 19-year-old actress is said to have rejected several projects including Dil Raju's offers, as she is not ready to work with young and unpopular actors like Kalyaan Dhev. She wants to act with only top South Indian stars like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Vijay Deverakonda. However, there is no official confirmations regarding Priya rejecting the offers.
Kalyaan Dhev, who is married to Chiranjeevi's daughter Sreeja, is an NRI businessman and he made his acting debut with Vijetha, which was released on July 12 and bombed at the box office. The young actor is set to make his comeback with his second film, which he announced on Instagram on November 23.
