Producers make a beeline, when it comes to making movies with Ajith. Even for his next movie, currently referred to as "Thala 57", things are no different and there are many who are interested in bankrolling the project.

The latest buzz has it that Ajith has decided on his next producer and it is said to be between "Billa 2" producer Suresh Balaji and reputed Sathya Jyothi Films. The project is expected to be helmed by Siva, who has already worked with him in "Veeram" and "Vedalam".

While some reports say that Ajith is going to work with Suresh Balaji, other reports claim that it is Sathya Jyothi Films that will produce "Thala 57". Meanwhile, one thing for sure is that AM Rathnam is not producing "Mankatha" actor's next movie and he has moved on to his son's Telugu film.

Suresh Balaji's "Billa 2" was a flop and did not live up to audience's expectations despite the trailer and audio winning hearts. Hence, Ajith has reportedly decided to give the producer a much-needed break.

On the other hand, Sathya Jyothi Films is a reputed banner in Kollywood. They have been in the industry for the past three decades and produced some of the best critically-acclaimed and commercially successful flicks. Kamal Haasan and Sridevi starrer "Moonram Pirai" was its first film way back in 1983. Some of the notable hits include "Uthama Puthiran" and "Kalyana Parisu" among others.

Meanwhile, Ajith is still recovering from the surgeries that he underwent in November. He has been advised bed rest and has not decided on when to start his next film. As per the reports, the forthcoming movie might begin in January 2016, but the regular shooting might be delayed. The film is expected to be released for next Diwali.

His recent movie "Vedalam" was one of the biggest commercial hits of Kollywood in 2015.
