Despite the fact that Dwayne Johnson is occupied with his upcoming summer release, Baywatch starring him, Zac Effron and Priyanka Chopra, the actor is already thinking about his DC debut.

It was announced that The Rock will play the DC villain Black Adam in a Shazam movie. Last Christmas, Superman Henry Cavill and Johnson teased fans that they might collide when the two meet. The Black Adam and Superman have now been confirmed by the Baywatch actor.

Talking to the Fandango during the Baywatch promotions, the actor said the Superman and Black Adam clash is on its way. "Is he gonna put the smack down on Superman?" the interviewer questioned. To which he smiles and replies: "One fine day. That's coming. That's on the cards." Damn, why is that day so far? Imagine how awesome the Johnson-Cavill clash will be!

After staying silent about the project for so long, The Rock finally opened about what he and DC have in store for fans.

"It's definitely going to happen, sure. We've had great conversations with Geoff Johns and everyone over at DC. It's an exciting time right now for everyone at DC because they are in a process now where they are building out [their DC universe] really nicely."

He also spoke about his introduction into the DC world. "We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can't reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced." Could we see him in Justice League? Or is he going to appear in Man of Steel 2?

As part of the interview, the actor also suggested Armie Hammer could play the perfect Shazam.

For those who don't know, Black Adam is a supervillain who becomes an enemy of Captain Marvel, Superman, Green Lantern, Raven, Superwoman, Wondergirl. His archenemy is Shazam.

DCEU is making remarkable changes and trying their best to swim out the debacles Suicide Squad and Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice. The studio, with Warner Bros, is trying to jump back with Wonder Woman, releasing on June 2, Justice League on November 17, The Flash and Aquaman next year.
