SS Rajamouli took to his X account on January 30 to announce the release date of Varanasi. He released a creative poster, which shows a meteor clashing into earth with its blaze trails subtly forming the number 7. The creatively designed poster subtly embeds the release date within its artwork, a signature Rajamouli touch that reflects his flair for innovative storytelling and marketing.

While the makers have kept the plot under tight wraps, Varanasi is widely believed to be a large-scale action-adventure rooted in mythology and Indian cultural history. Industry insiders suggest that the film will blend global storytelling sensibilities with deeply Indian themes, aiming for a massive international appeal.
