Action film, "Shootout at Wadala" based on the book "Dongri to Dubai" written by journalist Hussain Zaidi, had a terrific start at the box office on the first day.

The film made a collection of approximately ₹10.1 crore at the domestic box office on the day of its release. The film has emerged as one of the biggest openers this year after "Himmatwala" and "Race 2".
