Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently basking in the success of "Chennai Express", might soon be seen playing a 'desi' bong detective if he signs up Mira Nair's upcoming flick as speculated.

The acclaimed director, who has been scouting locations and cast for her film titled "Bengali Detective", was recently spotted at SRK's Mannnat residence where the superstar threw a party celebrating the success of "Chennai Express".

"Mira was in town, but we were stunned to see her at the party," revealed an insider to Hindustan Times. "Shah Rukh was spotted having a long and intense chat with the filmmaker."

It is a well known fact that Shah Rukh has Bengal connection with his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and as Bengal tourism ambassador, and it won't come as a surprise if superstar takes up Mira Nair's film. In fact, his fans in the eastern part of the country will delighted if he acts in the speculated film.
