Selena Gomez to collaborate with The Weeknd for new song: Report

Selena Gomez is reportedly coming up with a new song in collaboration with her Canadian boyfriend The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye.

The upcoming single is apparently titled In Her Element and it has the names of other musicians in its track list. Reports suggest the song is co-written by Swedish songwriter and record producer Max Martin, Trinidadian-born American rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Julia Michaels.

The details on the new musical project of It Ain't Me singer was spotted in the discography list of Max Martin's Wikipedia page, in which the Starboy singer's name is mentioned under co-writers list, according to ELLE.

An industry insider also claimed that the celebrity couple is working on some new songs. "Selena hopes at least one of the few songs they have been working on together will be ready for release within the next two months. Expect a sexy, sultry, slow love song from them soon," the source told Hollywood life.

The new information surely caused excitement among Abelena fans. But the details about the song In Her Element were not found on the Wikipedia pages of Max Martin and it is not clear if it was removed from the page.

Meanwhile, the celebrity couple were spotted together by some of their fans in Chicago. They shared the excitement on twitter by posting a photo of the two. "Selena and The Weeknd went to the movie theater and watched "Alien: Covenant" in Chicago, Illinois tonight!" an Abelena fan tweeted.

"Selena was seen at dinner with The Weeknd in Chicago, Illinois last night!" another admirer of Gomez and Abel wrote.
