Over the decades, Bollywood has seen some of the most remarkable marriages crumbling down. From Arbaaz Khan – Malaika Arora to Hrithik Roshan – Sussanne Khan; celeb divorces shattered the belief of their fans in the institution of marriage. Another celeb wedding that left many heartbroken was that of Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh.

No one could have predicted that the young girl who ran away with Sohail right before her wedding would part ways after over two decades of being married. Seema may have found love once again but that hasn't instilled any bitter feelings towards Sohail for her.

Better to separate

In a recent interview, Sajdeh spoke about being married young and eventually walking in different directions as they aged. "It was better to separate than to fight every day. We didn't want to spoil the environment at home. Khit-pit sse acha hai we separated. We separated amicably, but only as husband and wife. Till date, we are a family. He is the father of my children, and that can never change," she said in an interview with Usha Kakade Productions.

The 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' actress said that she went into depression post the divorce and had no idea about how to manage finances, bills. She added how Sohail took care of everything and it took her some time to learn it all. However, she doesn't blame anyone for the divorce. She said that Sohail and she both took the decision keeping their child in mind and waited for the kids to be a certain age to do it.

Salman, family supported

Seema also spoke about Salman Khan and the Khan family supporting her through it all. "They are always together. They never made me feel unwelcome," she said.

"They are always there. I may be divorced, but my children are half Khan and half Sajdeh – so through them, this will always be my family. We separated amicably, but only as husband and wife. To date, we are a family. He is the father of my children, and that can never change," she concluded.
