Director Ali Abbas Zafar has shared interesting details about Salman Khan and Disha Patani's role in the movie Bharat.
Ali said that Salman will play the character of a motorcyclist, who performs in a circus. On the other side, Disha will play the role of a trapeze artist.
"The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus-like Raj Kapoor's Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha's introduction. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while she is a trapeze artiste," the director told Mumbai Mirror.
Salman has recently started preparing for the never-before-seen avatar. The director further stated that major prosthetics will be applied to Salman in order to give him a Karan Arjun-like look, the report added.
Apart from Disha, Priyanka Chopra also plays a major role in Bharat. Talking about her character, Ali said that PeeCee too will have a different look, and she will begin shooting from August.
"We will be ending the Mumbai schedule with a Holi song featuring Priyanka and Salman. She joins the shoot in August and will have different looks in the film which the team has been working on in great detail as the film travels from the 1960s to the present day," he added.
While this is the first time that Salman and Disha will share the screen space, the superstar will be seen alongside Priyanka after a long time.
