Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart became fan favorite after they portrayed Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in Twilight movie saga. It's been almost 10 years since the last installment, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2, was released, and fans have always wondered if there is a possibility of another movie showing the vampire-human relationship.

Well, Robert Pattinson recently joked that he is ready to reprise his role of Edward Cullen. And now, many are wondering whether or not Kristen Stewart will consider portraying the role of a teenager who fell in love with a 100-year-old vampire.

In a recent interview with Variety, Robert Pattinson joked about the Twilight movie sequel. FKA Twigs' ex-fiancé stated that he is not only willing to portray Edward Cullen again, but he is ready to start the project at any time.

"The amount of time I've spent moisturizing, I'm ready to play 17 at a moment's notice. Ready!" Pattinson joked.

Pattinson also defended the Twilight movie sagas, saying, "Whenever anyone says that [Twilight's] their guilty pleasure, it's like, you say guilty, what you really mean is just pleasure."

The 32-year-old Pattinson is currently promoting his sci-fi film, High Life. In his Variety's interview, he further said it took him almost three years to sit across director Claire Denis and then four years passed before they actually began shooting the film.

"Pretty much everything I've done are these massive processes...I'm just hoping that these things happen and there's ton of circumstances that come into play."

High Life focuses on a group of criminals who are tricked into believing they will be freed if they take part in a mission that requires them to board a spaceship that will take them towards a Black Hole, in a hope to find an alternate energy source. While on their journey, the criminals will be sexually experimented on by the onboard scientists.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart stated in her 2015 interview with Vanity Fair that she is open to all the ideas and added that as an actress, she has no problem with the possibilities of any prospective project.

That being said, after the Twilight saga ended, both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart decided to pursue their individual careers. As the story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan came to a beautiful end after Breaking Dawn Part II, the possibility of them reuniting is pretty slim. At the same time, Robert Pattinson joked about the film's sequel as he himself is occupied with different projects.
