The upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Orange County" might include a number of new faces if reports of Bravo going on a firing spree are to be believed. And a new report claims that long-time cast member Tamra Barney will be replaced by Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa.

These claims, being made by Celeb Dirty Laundry, is in tune with a number of recent reports stating that Barney is either being fired by Bravo, or quitting, as the public is not impressed with her storyline. A source close to the production had earlier told the gossip website that the show is looking for a high-profile celebrity who will bring her own fan base to the show, and Vanessa seems to fit the bill.

Meanwhile, RumorFix confirmed the news of a possible new housewife.

"There will be a new girl and a new friend. They are looking at athlete wives. There is one who plays professional baseball. There have also been talks of Kobe Bryant's wife being scoped out," an insider told RumorFix. However, it remains to be seen if the deal will materialize as both Vanessa and her husband and very private about their personal lives.

However, contradicting the CDL report, the RumorFix source claimed that all the cast members of "Real Housewives of Orange County" have managed to avoid getting axed. "At the moment, the entire cast is being asked back," the source said.

This means, season 10 will feature Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, and Lizzie Rovsek, along with a new castmate.

In the meantime, one face that fans will miss in the upcoming season will be Heather Dubrow's husband Terry, who was unimpressed with the way he was portrayed in the previous season.

"Hell no. No Way," Terry replied to RumorFix when asked if he's returning for another season. As for Heather, he admitted that she's "on the fence" about it. Heather was a fan favourite when she joined in season seven of "Real Housewives of Orange County," but many have turned against her due to what they perceive as her "arrogant and condescending behaviour."
