The "Ram-leela" co-stars have always maintained that they are just good friends, but reports of their romantic relationship have refused to die down.
Now if rumours are to be believed, Singh and Padukone are planning to take their relationship to next level in 2015. A director, who is close to Singh and Padukone, has told a leading daily that they are very serious about each other.
"They're very serious about one another. When they're in public they pretend to be just friends. But away from prying eyes they don't care to hide their feelings for one another. When it began, neither of them realised how serious they would get about each other," the director told DNA.
Singh and Padukone have often been spotted spending quality time with each other either in foreign locations or in Mumbai. Recently, Padukone was in Italy to spend some time with her beau Singh, who is shooting for Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do".
The entire unit of "Dil Dhadakne Do" knows about the chemistry between Singh and Padukone. One of the actors from the location has also revealed that they both are planning of tying the knot next year.
"I have heard from Zoya's other actors they are thinking of tying the knot next year. Not that it is on any concern to me. But all the best to them," the actor said.
DNA also quoted a source saying that the couple will take the final decision while shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film "Bajirao Mastani". Singh and Padukone have been cast as the lead pair in the film and will get to spend some time on the sets.
Apparently, they came close to each other while shooting Bhansali's "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" which was released last year.
"The relationship grew on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela. Deepika and Ranveer are seriously thinking of taking their relationship forward to its logical conclusion. They will be spending a lot of time together during the shooting of Bajirao Mastani—close to 150 days. That's when they will take a call on their marriage," the source added.
