Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is impressed with Raj Tarun's performance in "Kumari 21F", has taken an indirect dig at Ram Charan Teja, Akhil Akkineni and other stars' sons, saying they should take inspiration from the young actor.

A series of big-ticket movies featuring leading Telugu actors' son have bombed at the box office and the biggest reason for most of these debacles is the bad selection of script. Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee" and Akhil Akkineni's "Akhil: The Power of Jua" are some of the best and latest example for it.

Young actor Raj Tarun, who does not have a filmy background, is just three-movie old and his first two films "Uyyala Jampala" and "Cinema Choopistha Maava" have become hits at the box office. He is now set to score hat-trick success with "Kumari 21F", which has got brilliant opening at the ticket counters. The good script is the key factor for the success of these movies.

After watching "Kumari 21F", Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter page and lauded Raj Tarun's acting and selection of script. Meanwhile, he made an indirect criticism against Ram Charan Teja, Akhil Akkineni and other stars' sons for selecting bad scripts for their recent movies.

In a series of tweets, Ram Gopal Varma wrote, "Really great to see a guy from nowhere Raj Tarun pushing boundaries while all the star sons are sticking to regressive old fashioned films. All Star sons should learn a lesson from Raj Tarun in taking cinema forward instead of assuming the audience to be idiots."

Ram Gopal Varma added, "Many many Congrats to Raj Tarun,Heebah Patel Sukumar and Surya Pratap for Kumari 21F. Stars and sons should realise only spectacles like Bahubali or content driven Bhale Bhale Magaadivoys or Kumari21Fs will work The failure of so many cliche ridden super high budget template films should make all stars and sons seriously look at Raj Tarun's films."

"Kumari 21F" has a simple coming-of-age story that deals with a major problem of youth. The movie has received rave reviews from the critics, who say Sukumar's script and Raj Kiran and Hebah Patel's performances are the main highlights of the film. Even actor Junior NTR praised them for their wonderful work in the film
