Kritika Chauhan and Vishal Sharma, the winners of "Power Couple" contest, are all set to compete with 10 celebrity couples on Sony Entertainment Television's reality show.

On Saturday evening, the bosses of Sony Entertainment TV launched the shows "Power Couple" at a press conference held in Goa. On this occasion, they announced the winners of the "Power Couple" contest. Besides posting their photo on its official Twitter handle, they wrote, "Meet the winners of #PowerCouplecontest Kritika Chauhan and Vishal Sharma!"

For the first time on Indian Television, real life celebrity couples will enjoy the true test of love. "It's about positivity, love and compatibility. This show does not have negativity and high-pitch drama. "Power Couple" is our latest offering in the non-fiction space," NP Singh, the CEO of Multi Screen Media, said in a statement released to the media.

"Power Couple" is an adaptation of Israel-based reality show with the same name. The show consisting 26 episodes will be aired on Sony Entertainment TV at 8.30 pm on Saturday and Sundays starting 12 December. Popular Bollywood couple Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan, who will be seen together for the first time on a TV show, will be hosting this reality show.

The show will also give the audience a sneak peek into the adorable chemistry between Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan. "I loved the concept of the show and I thought I can do this. Malaika was here with me and she has done a lot of TV work ... So with her, my fear and anxiety slowly faded away," Arbaaz said.

Recently, the channel had requested to log on to www.Sonyliv.com/PowerCouple and register online to participate in the contest. The participants were asked to upload a picture of themselves with their partners and mention one adorable thing they have done for him or her. The couple with maximum votes would get a chance to feature on the show.

"Power Couple" will test this couple along with 10 other celebrity pairs, who will live under one roof and face extreme challenges to prove how well each partner knows the other. This 11th contestant duo will not only get a chance to meet their favourite celebrities, but also live and compete with them to become India's first power couple.
