Actress Poonam Pandey has donated the payment that she received for the movie Lady Gabbar Singh to the Kerala flood relief fund.

Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey, who forayed into Tollywood with Malini & Co, is set to make her comeback to films. A few days ago, the actress signed a Telugu film titled Lady Gabbar Singh, which is directed by Veeru K. In a statement released to media, the actress announced that she would donate the salary that she received for this movie to Kerala flood relief programme.

Poonam Pandey's statement read, "I am deeply in a trauma and pain to see the devastation caused by the floods in Kerala. My heart goes out to the people in need and in order to help them, I have decided to donate my entire remuneration of just signed Telugu film Lady Gabbar singh to the Kerala relief fund."

Meanwhile, Poonam Pandey requested his followers to donate for the flood victims of Kerala. The actress added, "I am happy that many people have undertaken their disaster response work in Kerala. I appeal to all my friends, fans and peers from the film industry to come and support our flood relief work for the people of Kerala."

Many actors, directors and producers across the country have made generous donations to Kerala flood relief fund.

However, few actresses have forward to show their generosity. It is heartening to see that Poonam Pandey, who has been struggling to get film offers, contribute to the relief efforts in flood-hit Kerala.
