Oppo Find X dropped many jaws with its elegant design and sophisticated engineering. The Find X is already attracting a lot of attention, down to its every little detail such as the unique Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colours. As it now appears, Oppo might be working on a new shade for its Find X smartphone.

A leaked image of what appears to be the Find X smartphone has surfaced online, suggesting a new pure white colour for the flagship in the offing. The leaked image shows only the upper half of the rear cover, from which it is clear that the smartphone in question is indeed the Find X.

Based on the latest leak, mobile tipster Ice Universe created a mock-up of how Oppo Find X white would like from the front. Compared to the current hues, the pure white version looks too plain. At first glance, it looks like OnePlus 6 Silk White back cover, which we personally loved compared to other variants.

If there's a similarity between the Oppo Find X white and OnePlus 6 Silk White, we can expect the rear surface to be smudge free. Despite the rise in popularity of custom paintjobs for phones, plain white is quite favourable among those who want a sober look.

There's no word on if and when Oppo will launch the white version. It is also possible that the leaked image is from a fan, who imagined the new colour shade out of desire.

Oppo Find X was launched in India for Rs 59,990 and sales will go live in the country August 3 onwards. The smartphone justifies the premium price tag with not just the full-screen design, but also with its top-of-the-line features.

Oppo Find X features a 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, which is the highest we've ever seen on a smartphone. There's a unique motorised tray with rear and front cameras that slides in and out in just 0.5 seconds when demands its use.

Oppo Find X also lacks a fingerprint scanner but has an advanced facial unlocking feature for security. Other features include a dual rear-facing camera setup with 16MP and 20MP sensors, a 25MP AI front camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and 3,730mAh battery with VOOC fast charging.

Oppo Find X also supports dual SIM cards, USB Type-C port, NXP noise reduction, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out-of-the-box.
