Nokia 9 PureView is clearly one of the most-talked-about phones of 2018 and 2019. With five rear cameras and dual front cameras forming 7 cameras in total, Nokia 9 PureView has made headlines more often than not. But none have been able to pinpoint the phone's release and price. Until now.

A new Twitter account has joined the flock of mobile tipsters, but tweeting only about Nokia phones (for now at least). Twitter account aptly named "Nokia_Leaks" has exactly two tweets and all of them about Nokia 9 PureView, which isn't surprising given the popularity of the topic.

The latest leak about the Nokia 9 PureView suggests the phone's pricing in Europe and other markets. If deemed accurate, Nokia's upcoming flagship could cost €749 (approx. Rs 59,780, $850) or €799 (around Rs 63,770, $900) depending on the markets. The tweet further speculates that Nokia 9 PureView could first launch in Europe followed by other markets.

Prior to that, Nokia_Leaks revealed some breaking news about Nokia 9 PureView. Contrary to earlier reports that suggested the smartphone would sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, the latest information is that Nokia would opt for the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and include 5G support.

In both of its tweets, Nokia_Leaks has contradictory claims about the launch. Initially, it claimed Nokia would launch the Nokia 9 PureView sometime in August this year. But a few hours later, the tipster claimed the official launch of Nokia 9 PureView is planned for the third or fourth week of January.

We are not completely dismissing these rumours, but it is advisable to treat them as nothing more than just that. Nokia is yet to confirm or deny the existence of Nokia 9 PureView, but there have been ample leaks to prove its imminent arrival.

Earlier leaks have pointed out that Nokia 9 PureView will feature a 5.99-inch 2K display with HDR10 and in-display fingerprint scanner. The biggest highlight of the smartphone is the penta-camera set up at the back with ZEISS branded lenses of different configuration. The handset will be available in 6GB+128GB configuration, 4,150mAh battery with wireless charging support and Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
