A case has been filed against "Nach Baliye 7" hosts Karan Patel and Rithvik Dhanjani for passing objectionable comments on national heroes.
According to a Mid-Day report, a video clip shows Karan and Rithvik insulting national heroes as well as the India's Constitution. The video, which is being circulated online, also shows the crew member and audience enjoying the act.
"In this particular video clip that has been submitted before the Mulund Court, both actors are seen insulting national leaders and talking ill about our Constitution. We have furnished all proofs against Rithvik, Karan and Ekta Kapoor, who is producing the show. It also shows the audience and crew members enjoying the ridiculing act and none objected to it," Advocate Devendra Patil told Mid-Day.
Apparently, a freelance journalist filed the case against the hosts and producer Ekta Kapoor after watching the video online.
"The court has admitted our evidence that prima-facie suggests they were part of this act. On July 29, it will give us the go-ahead to send notices to all parties concerned," Patil added.
"I don't think that they (the actors) have done this, but let me check and get back to you," Ekta told the daily.
