"Nach Baliye 7" Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna have braved disparaging remarks ever since they began their journey on high-voltage reality show "Bigg Boss 8". But the spiteful comments on the relationship haven't marred their spirits.
Engaged but yet to take the plunge, the lovebirds are happy in their space and enjoying the love showered on them by the fans. However, Karishma has a special idea for her wedding.
"I'd love to have a beach wedding, and when we plan the wedding we'll surely let the world know," The Asian Age quoted her as saying. Meanwhie, the "I" actor said he'll let people know about their next step when they are ready.
What's interesting to note here is the two weren't bothered about what was being said about them.
While Karishma said they wished all those who doubted their love for each other well, Upen said, "Not really, because the people who matter to us, do know the truth. We're not here to prove our love to anyone."
Their journey on "NB7" wasn't a bed of roses. Reportedly, for a while they had become an object of scorn. Allegedly accused of resorting to unfair means for acing compatibility tasks, both Upen and Karishma's high-handedness had apparently become too much take for fellow contestants.
However, since the duo never came clean on it, this can, at best, be considered a rumour.
The couple is vying for the coveted trophy with 3 other jodis - Nandish Sandhu-Rashami Desai, Himmanshoo Malhotra-Amruta Khanvilkar and Mayuresh Wadkar-Ajisha Shah.
