It is not secret that Royal Enfield is working on perfecting a 750cc engine for its upcoming bikes for quite some time. The engine fitted on Continental GT's frame has been snapped during testing many times this year. The engine in-line twin cylinder engine rumoured to churn out a power of 45-50bhp and a peak torque of more than 60Nm. This engine is also expected to be the company's most powerful mill.

In all probability, this engine is expected to power the upcoming potent Himalayan version. Reports also say Royal Enfield is working on another bike model with the same engine. The motorcycle rumored to get the name Interceptor.
