The top five contestants of the film Miss Universe 2014 have been revealed and they are (in no particular order) Miss USA Nia Sanchez, Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen, Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell, Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha and Miss Colombia Paulina Vega.
The 10 contestants who have reached the semi-final stage after beating other 78 are from the countries (no particular order) Colombia, Ukraine, Philippines, Argentina, Jamaica, Argentina, Spain, Netherlands, Venezuela, Australia and USA
India's contestant Miss Diva Universe Noyonita Lodh has failed to made it in the top 10 list.
Previously, the hosts revealed the top 15 contestants and India's Noyonita Lodh was among them.
The top 15 contestants were selected on their score based on preliminary competition. The scoreboard ranked the top contestants based on their performances in three contests, which includes Evening Gown, National Costume and Swimwear rounds.
The judges of the preliminary competition were Azucena Cierco, President of Trump Models Corinne Nicolas, TV producer Jeneine Doucette-White, Jimmii Nguyen, TV host Lloyd Boston, former Miss Universe Michelle McLean and Tyler Tixier.
The coronation night of the 63th edition of the annual Miss Universe beauty pageant is being held at Miami, USA. In total, 88 contestants from across the world participated in the beauty pageant.
