Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle has once again divulged details about his strained relationship with his daughter, now the Duchess of Sussex.

This weekend, Thomas shared details of what he believes to be a "Wall of silence" that exists between his daughter and the rest of his family to The Mail "Everything has been met with a stony silence," he said.

Thomas claims that he has been trying to contact his daughter for a long time now, but his calls are left unanswered as of now, he says. "I'm hurt by what's happened but I'm not going to stay silent."

This is not the first time that Thomas has made these allegations. In a similar interview he made in July this year, he is reported to have said "She'd be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her."

The 74-year-old, former lighting director now added that his whole life has been "turned upside down" since Meghan and Prince Harry got close. The royal couple is expecting their first child and this has intesified the media attention that Meghan and Prince Harry are getting now.

Thomas also said that there is one thing that he wants to say to his daughter now and that is he just wants to speak with her. "If she would just speak to me, things could be different," he said to the Mail.

"I love Meghan very much. I want her and Harry to have a beautiful, healthy baby and a great life."

He continued to speak of how he keeps trying to get in touch with her "I have made dozens of attempts to reach my daughter via text and letters, but she and Harry have put up a wall of silence."

As to why he continues to speak to the press about this, Thomas explained that he wanted to "get the truth out there." Thomas says that he hopes some day he'll be reunited with his daughter.

"Their treatment of me is harsh, hurtful and unforgiving. I'm being punished for things I didn't say," he said. "It's all bulls**t. Meghan and I never had any problems before this."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are likely to spend Christmas with Prince William and Kate Middleton the Queen's Sandringham Estate.
