Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been full of praise for his opponents saying that Liverpool could go through the season unbeaten.

"At the moment they are doing it and they can do it," Emery said. "They can do that because they are doing it at the moment. We played against Liverpool three years ago with Sevilla in the final of the Europa League and I look at this progress and they are a very good example."

The team from Merseyside has been in scintillating form this season and will start as firm favourites to win the game. But Jurgen Klopp believes that Emery's men will hand them a tough fight. "It will be really tough game, really tough because they are good," said the Liverpool boss.

Klopp is expected to stick to his forward-thinking philosophy and might even start the game with all his attacking ammunition. In that case, Xherdan Shaqiri will take the right wing and Sadio Mane will operate from the left, leaving the central space to the duo of Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah.

James Milner will miss the tie and so will central defenders Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.

For Arsenal, the midfield three of Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, and Matteo Guendouzi will have to play very well in order to prevent their back four from getting overworked.

Heading into the clash, Liverpool is leading the race to win the Premier League as they sit six points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.
