LG V20 flagship smartphone launching in India next week

LG had launched an innovative modular concept-based flagship phone G5 series, but it failed to impress consumers in India. Now, the South Korean consumer electronics conglomerate is readying stage to launch its new marquee phone V20 series in the country later this month.

LG has commenced sending out invites for V20 product launch event scheduled on December 5 in New Delhi. LG V20 boasts top-of-the-line hardware in almost all aspects such as build quality, camera, processor and display. It comes covered with high-grade AL6013-series aluminium, which is said to be used in the making of airplanes, sailboats and mountain bikes. To further enhance its durability, the company has incorporated Silicone Polycarbonate (Si-PC) flaps on top and at the bottom.

SI-PC material is said to be used in the making of helmets and the ones used in V20 have passed MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test conducted by independent laboratory that conforms to U.S. military standards.

Under-the-hood, it comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, 16MP primary camera + 8MP secondary shooter, a 5MP front snapper and a 3,200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

How much would LG 20 cost in India?

Word on the street is that LG V20 will be priced around Rs. 55,000.
