Krystle D'Souza reacts to her viral dance video on 'shararat' with Ranveer Singh; "felt like I was dancing in a club"

Dhurandhar continues to remain the talk of the town even as we step into the new year. Bollywood fans are absolutely obsessed with the movie and every single aspect of it. While certain scenes from the film have become extremely popular, with videos circulating and recirculating on the internet, the songs from the film have become chartbusters, and the dance steps from those songs have become sensationally viral.

One such song from the film, which is playing on loop for a lot of people, is 'Shararat' sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas. Netizens are not only impressed by how fun the song is, but are also obsessed with Krystle D'Souza and Ayesha Khan's dance performance on the song. Krystle recently spoke about her performance on the song at the Dhurandhar music launch with Ranveer Singh, which went absolutely viral. 

Talking to Zoom, Krystle revealed that she was not at all prepared to dance at the event. The actress mentioned that it was Ranveer Singh who insisted that she go up on stage and dance to her own song. 

Krystle said, "Trust me, I was not prepared even 1%. If I was, I would not wear a saree. I am somebody who never wears a saree. I am mostly in dresses and pants. I said, you know what, I am feeling like a saree. Why did I feel like a saree? I have no idea (laughs). But I wore a saree and I went there, because they had told me that, 'You just have to sit at the music launch. We will be launching every song on stage. Jasmine (Sandlas) and Madhubanti (Bagchi) will be singing Shararat on stage. You just have to clap, vibe, or whatever. We will take some BTS vibes.'"

The actress further mentioned, "We went there. Ranveer Singh is sitting here, I am sitting here, and Jasmine and Madhubanti are singing the song on stage. Suddenly, Ranveer Singh says, 'Krystle, this is your song. Let's go,' and he literally holds my hand and takes me on stage. And I was like, 'What?' And then that energy just transferred. It's just his aura, his vibe, his energy. It's electrifying, and you just want to match up."

Krystle mentioned how she automatically just had to match up to the energy that Ranveer possesses. She revealed that she eased into it and soon forgot that she was actually dancing on stage.

She said, "There was no trying. I was automatically pushed to try to match his level. Obviously, I can't be on that level; his level is next level, but I tried. We just danced. I didn't feel like I was on a stage performing. I felt like I was dancing in a club. No one was watching, no one was doing anything. I was just living in the moment. I enjoyed it so much."

Earlier, while speaking to Galatta, when asked if she would be a part of the Dhurandhar sequel, she did not reveal much, but all she said was that she would let everyone know soon. This has intrigued fans very much, and they, too, want to know if she will be seen again in the second part and what her role would be.

For those unversed, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, will have a second part releasing on March 19, 2026. The first part of the film featured Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
