Deepika Padukone–Ranveer Singh smooch, enjoy NBA date night in New York [Watch]

It looks like watching sports is now the new dating spot for Bollywood couples. A few months back, we saw Kriti Sanon with her BF Kabir and other friends watching UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi; Varun Dhawan was also present with them. And now, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone chose a rather different way to ring in their best years. The couple attended the New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks match at Madison Square Garden on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Sharing a video from the game, a fan wrote, "The Knicks may have lost, but all the brown fans in the MSG definitely won."

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were seen taking selfies with fans and cheering and hooting throughout the game. The couple twinned in chic black-and-white outfits.

One fan also shared a selfie with the duo and captioned it, "POV – The universe understood the assignment. This night happened all thanks to you! I've been obsessed with two Bollywood actresses all my life—Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone. My heart stopped for a few seconds when I saw @deepikapadukone and @ranveersingh."

Apart from the duo watching an NBA match, several photos and videos of Ranveer and Deepika smooching at an event have also gone viral.

Ranveer Singh is riding high on the massive success of Dhurandhar, which has earned around Rs 1,182 crore worldwide. The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is slated for release on March 19, 2026. Deepika Padukone, meanwhile, is set to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in King, marking their sixth on-screen collaboration after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan.
