Acclaimed Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently awaiting the release of her new movie 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' which is expected to hit the screens on January 25, 2019. As the final leg production works of the movie and the promotion are going on steadily, Kangana Ranaut has come forward and has made it clear that she will dissociate with the film if labourers and technicians worked for 'Manikarnika' gets devalued again.

The actress also threatened the makers stating that she will not take part in the promotion campaigns unless until the payment dues of workers get cleared.

The 'Queen' actress also made it clear that top brass actors are getting unnecessary attention, while technicals work off screen are not getting what they deserve. She also added that technicians are unsung heroes in the film industry, and mean acts against them should never be tolerated.

"I have always opposed such practices. Labourers and technicians are devalued in the film industry. I don't know why actors get unnecessary attention and importance in the film industry and because of that, I want to be a technician. I feel they are absolutely devalued. I want to venture into writing and direction as they are unsung heroes of the film industry. When such things it should not be tolerated," said Kangana Ranaut.

The noble move of Kangana Ranaut has apparently received positive responses from the general public. Many social media users have lauded Kangana for her empathetic attitude, and they believe that no other actresses other than the 'Tanu Weds Manu' heroine have the belligerence to talk against industry big shots like this.

Some of her fans believe that other starlets in the industry should follow the paths of Kangana to help the brutally suppressed and oppressed people in the film industry.

'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', directed by Krish is expected to be a historical action thriller that will showcase the life story of a queen who waged war against the Britishers in the pre-independent Indian era. Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film also stars Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongappa. Jisshnu Sengupta, and Ankita Lokhande in other prominent roles.

The movie is bankrolled and distributed by Zee Cinemas.
