Junior NTR's much-talked about and highly anticipated movie "Nannaku Prematho", which has been directed by Sukumar of "1: Nenokkadine" fame, scheduled to be released across the world on 13 January.
Story: Nannaku Prematho is an action family drama, which is laced with lot of human emotions. Written by Sukumar, the film has a simple and routine revenge story, which is about London-based NRI Abhiram, who hails from a high profile family in Palnadu area. The movie shows deep bond that Abhiram and his father share.
Cast and Crew: Junior NTR plays the role of hero Abhiram, while Rakul Preet Singh appears as his love interest Divyanka. "Nannaku Prematho" features Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Sithara, Srinivas Avasarala, Vennela Kishore, Rajiv Kanakala and Thagubothu Ramesh in the important roles.
"Nannaku Prematho" has been produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The film has Sukumar's direction, story, screenplay and dialogues, Devi Sri Prasad's music, Vijay C Chakravarthy's cinematography and Navin Nooli's editing.
Shooting: "Nannaku Prematho" has been shot in beautiful locales of the UK for 40 days. The film unit has canned some of the scenes, using MRMC Bolt High Speed Cinebot -- the fastest camera robot -- which is used to obtain shots of extremely high speed objects. Some portions of the movie have been shot in Hyderabad, while the some songs have been shot in Spain.
Music and Background Score: "Nannaku Prematho" has five trendy and melodious songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad. All the songs have impressed the music lovers and Junior NTR's song Follow Follow has become a chartbuster. As per the teasers and trailers of the movie, DSP's background score is going to be a big asset of the film and it will help the director to elevate the intensity of sentimental scene especially in the second half.
Promos and Publicity: "Nannaku Prematho" has been making headlines for all the good reasons ever since director Sukumar announced it. Its posters, teasers and trailer have garnered a lot of attention. Junior NTR's brand new stylish look has soared the viewers' expectations sky high. The makers have adapted several unique promotional strategies and spent a huge amount of money on them. Junior NTR, Rakul Preet and Sukumar are busy with its rigourous promotion on different platforms of media.
Budget and Pre-Release Business: "Nannaku Prematho" has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 50 crore. The huge hype and promos had created a great demand for its theatrical, music and satellite rights. The movie has reportedly fetched Rs 54 crore from the sale of its distribution rights and Rs 16 crore from other rights. The film has reportedly made table profit of Rs 10 crore in its pre-release business.
Screen Count and Advance Booking: "Nannaku Prematho" is slated to be released in 1,800 screens around the world and it is the second biggest Telugu release ever after "Baahubali". Its advance booking was made available six days before its release and the movie has registered massive response.
Box Office Prediction: Considering these aspects, "Nannaku Prematho" will witness a massive opening and collect Rs 20 crore (Rs 20 crore in AP/T and Rs 5 crore in other parts) at the worldwide box office on its first day. But the movie will have very tough time at the ticket counters as it clashes with Balakrishna's "Dictator", Sharwanand's Express Raja and Nagarjuna's "Soggade Chinni Nayana" from the next day. The film is likely to recover over 75% of the investments to its distributors by the end of the first week.
