Fans of actor Junior NTR and lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry have kick-started the "Janatha Garage" challenge and the trend of planting sapling and posting photos of it has gone viral on Twitter.
Mahesh S Koneru, publicist for Janatha Garage, planted a sapling and nominated four of his friends for the challenge. He tweeted: "I took up the #JanathaGarageChallenge.planted a sapling. I'm nominating @vamsikaka @trulypradeep @ynakg @iHarshaC "
Many thought that the makers of "Janatha Garage" started this challenge as a part of its promotion. Fan named SamNani tweeted: "#JanathaGarageChallenge good initiative started by @MythriOfficial :)" In reply, the bosses of Mythri Movie Makers clarified that the trend was started fans. They tweeted: "Started by @ramjowrites and Young Tiger @tarak9999 fans! "
"Janatha Garage" is said to have a scene featuring the hero planting saplings and a still from the movie offers a hint at Junior NTR bringing saplings on his bike. Ramajogaiah Sastry tweeted: "All d credit goes 2 @sivakoratala garu n @tarak9999 garu 4 cmg up with such a noble script #JanathaGarageChallenge.
This challenge was said to be the first taken up by some of the Junior fans in Nellore. A fan named Madhu Udayagiri tweeted few photos featuring him planting saplings with his friends. He also wrote: "Maa frnd @tarak9999 fan Start chesesadu from #Nellore #JanathaGarageChallenge @MythriOfficial @ramjowrites."
Later, this trend went viral on Twitter within no time with many fans planting saplings in different parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and posted photos on their Twitter handles. This is indeed a good initiative by Junior NTR and it helps the Haritha Haram campaign recent launched by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
