India and New Zealand battle it out for the final time in this series, with the third Test in Indore expected to be just as gripping and engrossing as the first two matches. India might have come up trumps in those two games, but the Kiwis have given the hosts a run for their money and more of the same will be expected at the Holkar Stadium from Saturday.

The hosts have already wrapped up the series largely because they have won the crucial moments. When the Test match has been poised nicely, India have been the ones who have been able to take the game by the proverbial scruff of the neck.

The spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have played a major part in helping India do that, while the pacers did exceptionally well in the second Test match at Eden Gardens. India's top order batting has been, at times, iffy, but the lower order has crucially chipped in with runs, frustrating the New Zealand bowlers in the process.

Staying patient and not letting the game drift is key in these conditions, and India, with their superior experience, have been able to do that better and more often.

With a typical Indian wicket expected in Indore, it will be India who hold all the aces again, and expect the spinners to come into the game a lot earlier this time around.

The pitch is also expected to be quite good for the batsmen, though, and this match could finally give us a centurion or three in this series. So far, despite a fair few half-centuries, no batsman has been able to reach the three-figure mark, and both the India and Kiwi batsmen will target a big score.

One of the batsmen in need of a big knock is the India captain Virat Kohli, who is yet to really get off the traps in this series. When in full flow, he is a joy to watch, and with a big crowd expected to come in for this Test match, this could be the perfect platform for Kohli to make his mark in this series.
