India could not get a full batting innings out in the middle after their first warm-up match was interrupted by rain, so Virat Kohli and his team will be keen to get as much time with the bat as possible when they play Bangladesh in their final ICC Champions Trophy 2017 warm-up match.

The first game was played at The Oval in London, with this second warm-up also scheduled to take place in the same ground.

After rain stopped India's innings at 26 overs, the key for the defending champions before the tournament starts – they play Pakistan in their first match on Sunday – will be to get as much batting practice in the middle as possible.

So, don't be surprised if India decide to bat first in this warm-up match against Bangladesh.

Results don't matter in these practice games, with the most important aspect being getting as attuned to the conditions as possible.

The India bowlers certainly showed they are up for it in these conditions, by putting on a brilliant bowling performance against New Zealand in the first warm-up match.

The four fast bowlers Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami all impressed with the ball, with Bhuvneshwar and Shami picking up three wickets each.

What was also good to see were the spinners getting amongst the wickets as well, with Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin picking up three wickets between them.

The only real problem for India will be which of those six bowlers to choose from, so expect all six, particularly the pacers, to go out there and try to impress once more.

Bangladesh are coming off a warm-up match in which they scored 341 in their batting innings.

While they ended up losing that game, as Pakistan chased down the score, India will know this will be a difficult batting order to rattle through.

What India will also want is for the Bangladesh bowlers to challenge their batsmen.

Rohit Sharma didn't bat in the last game, and should open this one with Shikhar Dhawan, with the two key components to India's success in the Champions Trophy in 2013 and also if India are to repeat it in 2017.

The likes of Kohli, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, if fit enough, and Kedar Jadhav will also want to get an opportunity with the bat, and the mantra for this game will be to get a hit out in the middle for as many batsmen as possible.
