Even after two years, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still not able to finalise their divorce. The recent court orders, however, seem to have worked out in Pitt's favour as the court ordered the couple to retain a joint custody until further notice, providing extra visiting hours to the actor.

After a lot of rumours and speculations, Brad and Angelina officially announced their separation in September 2016. After the news broke, many wondered the future of their six children.

There were reports that Jolie has decided to finally move to London and her decision has shattered Pitt's hope to stay close to his children. However, a recent court has ordered the couple to share the custody of their six children until the further notice.

As earlier reported, Jolie flew back to Los Angeles from London with their six children to work out the long-term details with Pitt. According to the Blast, the Maleficent actress has had to agree to give the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood movie star four hours of custody every other day on school days, and 12 hours every other day on non-school days.

Previously in June, the court had ordered that Pitt should have more hours with his children. The judge has said, "It is critical that each of [the six] children have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother."

Well-wishers of Brad and Angelina, known as Brangelina, were worried when the divorce proceedings took nasty turns. It was recently reported that Jolie's team accused the actress' estranged husband of not fulfilling his child-support duties.

In response to all the allegations, Pitt fired back and stated in court that he had, in fact, loaned his ex-wife a staggering amount. According to Pitt, he has given Jolie $8 million to buy her new home and even paid out around $1.3 million in several bills.

However, Jolie's new lawyer, Samantha Bley DeJean, shot back at Pitt's response to the previous allegations. According to DeJean, "A loan is not ... child support, and to represent it as such is misleading and inaccurate."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's next court date is set for August 21. Meanwhile, the couple is trying their best to provide a healthy environment for their six children.
