It is not just Delhi that is making news for its AQI. Hina Khan has expressed concern over Mumbai's worsening AQI. The popular actress, who has recently battled cancer, has said that the poor quality of air in Mumbai is impacting her health. She added how she is finding it difficult to breathe and faces continuous coughing.

"What is happening? Can't ever breathe, yaaa," Hina wrote on social media.
She added, "Makes me reduce my outdoor activities. Constant coughing. It's so bad in the morning as well."
She shared a news article that read that Mumbai's AQI was 209 and marked the atmosphere as severe. Hina's post came a few days after Saiyami Kher shared something similar.

The Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast had shared how going outdoors for even a simple task appears herculean due to the poor air quality. Going for a simple run has become such a task. Whenever I step out, I see people around me constantly coughing, and that is extremely alarming," she had told HT.

What BMC said
A few days back, an official from BMC had said, "Pollutants are lingering in the atmosphere because winds are stagnant. Our squads are active at ongoing work sites, although many staff members are currently deployed on election duty," the official said. Hina Khan had shared her journey of battling cancer and becoming a survivor all throughout 2025.
The 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress had taken to social media to share details of her ailment and how Rocky Jaiswal stood through the ordeal for her. The duo got married after several years of dating in a registered marriage and chose to keep it intimate. The two later shared the news on social media leaving their fans and well-wishers over the moon.
