Tollywood's Superstar Mahesh Babu, whose last political drama Bharat Ane Nenu did extremely well at the Telugu box office, is now preparing for his upcoming movie titled 'Maharshi'.
Mahesh Babu is known for his prowess in acting. With a huge fan base from the Telugu states, Mahesh is one of the leading stars of Tollywood. Maharishi is the actor's 25th film.
The makers have now revealed the title and unveiled the first look poster of the film. It was earlier believed that the movie was titled 'Rishi'.
Vamshi Paidipally is directing the film and Pooja Hegde will appear as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu.
In the poster, Mahesh is seen walking with a laptop in his hand. His casual attire shows that he is probably a student in the movie. The actor is also sporting a new hair-do and beard. Other reports have suggested that he is playing the role of a young CEO in the film.
The poster of his new film has come out as a special treat for his fans on his birthday. The Telugu superstar is celebrating his 43rd birthday on August 9.
Bankrolled under the banners Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP the movie is produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt, and PVP together. Devi Shri Prasad is the music composer.
