Adivi Sesh's Goodachari is set to cross the $0.5 million mark at US box office in five days. The elated producer is holding a grand success meet on Wednesday and Akkineni Nagarjuna will attend it.
Goodachari opened to good response in the US premiere shows on Thursday and witnessed decent growth in its collection at the US box office on Friday. The movie went on to beat the lifetime record of Adivi Sesh's last solo outing Kshanam.
Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted, "#Goodachari crosses @AdiviSesh previous highest full run in 1 day. It has collected an hourly gross of $91,381 by 9:40 pm PST on Friday by taking total to around $145k. @AdiviSesh previous solo hit #Kshanam grossed $137,995 in full run! Terrific."
A strong word of mouth boosted its collection on Saturday and Sunday, and Goodachari collected $415,476 at the US box office in the first weekend and topped the US business chart for Telugu films. Its day-wise breakup is $53,217 in Thursday premiere, $104,865 on Friday, $158,720 on Saturday and $97,469 on Sunday
Goodachari witnessed a steep decline in its collection on Monday, due to working day, but it inched closer to half million dollar mark. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted on Tuesday, "#Goodachari is holding good in USA on Monday as it collects $31,816 from 97 locations. Total gross is $447,620. Excellent! Expecting it to cross half million dollar mark today as it's AT&T 1+1 day!"
Goodachari needs to collect $52,380 to cross the half a million dollar mark. The early hours' trends show that the movie has already minted $48,320 at the US box office on Tuesday. It will cross this mark by the end of the day. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted, "#Goodachari Tuesday hourly gross in USA at 11 pm PST is $48,320. 4K more needed for half a million!"
Goodachari also fared well in the Telugu states and other parts of India. The makers are all thrilled over the huge response for it at the worldwide box office. They are holding a success meet in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening. Senior actor Akkineni Nagarjuna will be the special guest on this occasion.
