Will Cary end up behind bars again?CBS/The Good Wife

"The Good Wife" did not have much to reveal to the viewers in its second episode of season 6 but the legal drama might take an unexpected turn in the next episode.

"The Good Wife" season 6 episode 2 titled "Trust Issues" focussed on two major sequences – Cary's (Matt Czuchry) arrest and Diane's (Christine Baranski) decision to leave Lockhart/Gardner. The episode ended with Diane joining Florrick/Agos and Cary out of jail.

The next episode of the most anticipated legal drama on CBS will reveal whether Cary has to stay behind the bars again and whether Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will be separated from her business partner for the next 15 years.

The official synopsis of "The Good Wife" season 6 episode 3 titled "Dear God", reads, "Cary's freedom lies in the hands of his pretrial service officer, Joy Grubick, as she interviews his colleagues to determine whether or not he should remain behind bars. Meanwhile, Alicia and Dean find themselves in unfamiliar territory when a client's case ends up in Christian Arbitration."

In a 19-second-long sneak peek video, Cary's pretrail officer, Joy Grubick, warns him, "Mr. Agos, you can't live life the way you used to. Or you will end up behind bars again."

Though the clip does not disclose much about Cary's future, he looks confident and believes that Diane will get him out one way or the other.

Previously, Czuchry revealed that the storyline of Cary's arrest will pick up in future episodes and the events in the premiere episode "are going to be overarching themes for this season."

"Whether Cary is going to be in jail or out of jail I can't say, but I can say that that particular storyline is going to continue. You will learn more about Cary and Bishop's relationship. We will touch on a lot of different issues that come from that storyline. It is less about Cary being in jail and more about him having been arrested," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

However, the TV World will have to wait until next Monday to know more about Cary and Alicia's future.

Meanwhile, feminist activist Gloria Steinem will share screen space with Julianna Margulies in the upcoming episode of "The Good Wife" season 6. Other guest stars to appear in "Dear God" includes Robert Sean Leonard as an arbitrator Del Paul and Linda Lavin as pretrial service officer Joy Grubick, reported Hollywood Hills.
