Their dating rumours had surfaced back in November 2025, but back then, both actors had remained quiet about it and had neither confirmed it nor denied it. With the advent of the new year, the two actors chose to surprise their fans with pictures of themselves together on social media.
Kirti and Rajeev took to Instagram to share a reel, which was a compilation of their pictures together. They looked lovely in the pictures together, and Kirit captioned the reel as, "A picture is worth a thousand words... ❤️#happynewyear happy2026 everyone... ❤️". There were pictures of Kirti and Rajeev's outings and trips together, accompanied beautifully with the background music of Jesse Woods' 'Gold In The Air.'
While Kirti plays the role of Anjana Mennon on the show Four More Shots Please, Rajeev plays the role of one of her best friend's love interests, Mihir Shah. Rajeev, on the show, is romantically linked to Maanvi Gagroo's character Siddhi, and Maanvi too showed her excitement for the new real-life couple Kirti and Rajeev in the comment section of the reel. Maanvi commented, saying, "Happy new year lovelies" while Lisa Rani Ray, who is a part of the show too, posted heart emojis in the comment section.
