Recently, Xiaomi slashed the price of the popular dual camera phone Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Now, the company's e-commerce partner, Flipkart is hosting Mobile Bonanza sale and is offering the device for as low as Rs 999, but there's a catch.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro base model, which costs Rs 12,999 can be purchased for just Rs 999 through exchange deal provided you trade in your old phone. To get Rs 12,000 discount, you have give away an expensive mobile like an Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S series. If those don't fetch the required cash amount you expected, there are other options on Flipkart.

If you happen to own SBI card, you can claim 10% instant cash back. Or Axis card can get you 5% discount. There are also lucrative EMI options with several partner banks, as well.

Is Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro worth buying?

Absolutely yes, it is best value-for-money mid-range phone in the market. Consumers can go for the Redmi Note 5 Pro even now, even though the successor Redmi Note 6 Pro is already available, the latter has moderate upgrade. You won't miss much in the former.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is one of the most visually appealing phones. It flaunts a 5.99-inch full HD+ (2160x1080p) FullView screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and boasts high-grade metallic shell on the back. It not only brings stability to the structure but also exudes a premium feel when held in hand.
